Bob Lloyd began his career in the real estate appraisal field after graduating with a BBA degree from the University of Mississippi in 1983. Sixteen years of experience evaluating and reporting on a diverse range of commercial, residential, and industrial properties built a strong foundation for his entrepreneurial pursuits. At the age of twenty-seven, he founded his own appraisal firm, leveraging his early experience in real estate appraisal and brokerage. Over the past forty years, Lloyd has demonstrated exceptional business and organizational skills, which have enabled him to establish more than fifty real estate corporations under his leadership.

In 1994, Bob’s passion for the self-storage industry began with the construction of the first climate-controlled facility in the State of Mississippi. By 1997, he had rebranded the stores under the StorageMax Trademark and completed the state’s first multi-level Climate-Controlled Self-Storage and Data Management (RecordMax) facility. These innovative new developments earned Lloyd recognition as one of The Top 40 Under 40 by the MS Business Journal.
